The Social Security Administration announced March 7, 2024 as National Slam the Scam Day.

This day is intended to highlight the various tools available to protect against Social Security-related scams and stop scammers from stealing your vital private information and funds.

As stated in our Spring newsletter article Financial Fraud Can Hit Anyone, it is important to “verify the email address of any link” and “pay attention to and follow up on any red flags”.  To read more visit  https://foslaw.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Spring-2024-Client-Newsletter.pdf and the Administration’s Scam Alert Fact Sheet at https://www.ssa.gov/fraud/assets/materials/EN-05-10597.pdf?utm_campaign=oig-scam-24&utm_content=scam-alert-pdf-feb2024&utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery.
