Be Safe This New Year’s Eve: Law Enforcement will be looking to make OWI/DUI Arrests

By December 31, 2015April 28th, 2020No Comments

New Year’s Eve is a great opportunity to gather with family and friends to reflect on the past year and discuss resolutions for the next.  Unfortunately, it is also an occasion when many people get arrested for Operating while Intoxicated (OWI) or Driving under the Influence (DUI).  Each New Year’s Eve, local law enforcement agencies increase patrols focusing on pulling over and arresting suspected OWI/DUI offenders.  This year will be no different.

If you or someone you know is arrested for alleged OWI/ DUI it is important to consult an attorney as soon as possible to learn of any potential challenges to your case.  It is also very important to make sure you do not miss crucial deadlines which could make defending your OWI/DUI case much more difficult.  In addition to identifying potential challenges, involving a lawyer immediately can make all the difference as to whether you are able to keep your operating privileges.

For more on important deadlines and other information regarding OWI/DUI cases please click the following link Criminal, and then open the page for OWI/DUI DRUNK DRIVING OR IMPAIRED DRIVING.  Please have a safe and happy New Year’s Eve!
