FOS joined over 700 young leaders from 60 different Milwaukee schools for the Inaugural S.T.O.P Awards Show on May 21, 2015 at the UW-Panther Arena. S.T.O.P., or Students Talking It Over With Police, is a program designed to improve relationships and understanding between young people and law enforcement. Mayor Tom Barrett presented a declaration declaring May 21 S.T.O.P Day. Various other Milwaukee leaders, elected officials and high-ranking members of the Milwaukee Police Department, including Chief Edward Flynn, attended the event.
