April is National Volunteer Month, a time to celebrate the power of giving back.
Volunteers play an essential role in strengthening our community, offering their time and skills to make a positive impact.
FOS recognizes the importance of volunteerism in creating a better world for all. This month we celebrate the spirit of giving back, and the many individuals and groups who make a difference, quietly yet profoundly, every day.
One example of FOS’s commitment to volunteering is its gathering to make 200 sandwiches for the Guest House of Milwaukee.
FOS attorney and staff volunteer efforts include activities on the City of Milwaukee Citizen Advisory Committee on the Naming of Public Buildings, Streets, and Facilities, the board of the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin, the Catholic Community Foundation, and as a school board trustee. They have participated in legal clinics, mock trials, and charitable walks/runs.
Join FOS in volunteering, not just in April but throughout the year. Together, we can continue to have a lasting impact on others.
