FOS shareholder Lauren Maddente’s article, “Women’s History Month: Reframing the ‘Fight’ for Equal Opportunity as a Collaboration,” appears in the March 2026 issue of Wisconsin Lawyer magazine. Because March is Women’s History Month Lauren, who is president of the Association for Women Lawyers, reflected on women’s presence in the legal field.
In addition to describing women who have historically fought for equality in the legal profession, Lauren’s article asks two fundamental questions: – what role does the historical fight for equality play in today’s landscape? And would everyone, especially women, be better served if the “fight” for equal opportunity is reframed as a collaboration?
